What If This is Heaven...

What if this is heaven? 

Spoiler ahead. This is not a religion article.

A story about this wealthy man who could have every possible fortune in his life. He was blessed with a son after being long married. His son is the most precious thing in this wealthy man's eye. On his son's 21st birthday, he bought him a horse as a present. With great delight, this young man galloping away in his new toy and met an accident, broke his leg and never to walk again. The father was devastated. Not long after, the war broke out. All young men in his town were required to report duty to the army. Luckily enough because his son's handicapped, he was spared from losing his life to the bitter war that took his friends' lives. It is a blessing in disguise.

From this story, I reflect on my life. Everything bitter that happened now, maybe is a lesson for me to be stronger. "It could not have been worse than this." seems to be consoling words I would encourage myself. I am so blessed with so many things in life, that many people who took for granted. Why should I let those small failures to tear me apart?

Many a times I met with people who always complain how bad their lives are, and wish they could be somewhere doing something else, or even blamed others for the misery they are having. What is going on with these people?

Every happened for a reason. If we could look at the encounter we faced each day, take it with a pinch of salt and stay positive ahead, everything that seems bad now may turn out to be a blessings in disguise. 

I am very blessed with everything that come into my life, be it good or bad. Tomorrow is another brand new day. I can always change the story of tomorrow. I could not have asked for a better time to let anything else happened than now. This is heaven after all.
